Nigeria gearing up for 2023 Election with known gladiators and a Youth at heart

Omoyele Sowore 

The routine battle for the Leadership of Nigeria, Africa's biggest population has begun, if the population is a blessing or a curse, it is still hard to conclude as the change in Leadership over the past years seemed to have been same recycled men who though old and feeble have refused to allow the Younger generation to step into the vacuum of their failure. 

Nigeria has transited from military rule to what seemed to be democracy but more like a dictatorship, The system of governance is undefined and the masses are not so much affected by the governance, as men assume power looting the treasury without benefitting the people over whom they preside 

There has been tribal dissention and political unease, protest and unrest or even the war has not deter the subsequent leaders form continuing in their old ways

Another Election to determine the President is fast approaching , one Young man who has consistently refused to back down from accepting recycled Leader is Omoyele Sowore, an astute fighter and activist 

Sowore who contested against the current Nigerian President in 2019 is again running alongside some other Politicians who have been in the routines of politics for ages 

Candidates 

Atiku a former Vice President to Olusegun Obasanjo with several pending  allegation of corruption has been bent on his desire for the topmost seat, Though he has been defeated several time still managed to hold on to the Party PDP which was in Power for 16 Years , A party allege to have  birthed  all the corruption currently inherited by the current party APC

Bola Ahmed Tinubu another political heavy weight who felt entitled in a recent video is also contesting against all the odds of allegations levelled against him. he is promising to do better than his party President who is considered the most unfortunate Leadership in Nigerian History. 

Not much is said about Kwakanso as he seemed to be serving a sectional interest under Peoples democratic party as many of the other  contestant but he is listed alongside many other contestant for the Number 1 position.

One of the most noised contestant who doubled as a former governor of Anambra state Peter Obi is in the race and seemed to be mastering the strategy of winning the heart of some, The latter had moved to a smaller party since the PDP under which he hoped to contest gave Atiku a pass. Obi is contesting on the Platform of Labor party 

Nigeria Election 

 

Omoyele Sowore who represents the Younger generation is an outspoken candidate, A man who seemed knowledgeable about the state of the Nation and unpretentiously calling out the Leaders for their failures to allow proper  governance  of the Nigerian People. Sowore has been arrested and punished for being very critical of government,  He is contesting on the Platform of African Action congress 

The stage is set, all eyes are on Nigeria to determine who wins the heart of the people if election are free and fair as has never been the case in most African countries
